Exclusive Advertising Slots for the Japan Food Metaverse Exhibition for Thailand and Taiwan in June 2024
Ad-Virtua, Inc. (Location: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Seitaro Mizuno), a company developing and operating a metaverse advertising delivery platform, is pleased to announce the beginning of a business partnership with BorderTech Co., Ltd. (Location: Nagareyama, Chiba; CEO: Makoto Kishimoto), which operates a cross-border metaverse exhibition platform. The partnership began in April 2024.
As part of this collaboration, Ad-Virtua will have exclusive rights to sell advertising slots at the Japan Food Metaverse Exhibition "JVREX Food 2024 Thailand Taiwan," scheduled for June 1–30, 2024. Additionally, Ad-Virtua will sell ad slots for upcoming exhibitions in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the USA. The partnership will also focus on strengthening features such as ad delivery management and viewability detection within BorderTech's metaverse platform.
Overview of JVREX Food EXPO
JVREX is a metaverse space modeled after a space station floating between the Earth and the moon, where Japanese food brands can exhibit their products and services to international markets. The virtual space includes exhibition booths, webinar venues, and digital signage displaying various content, such as Japanese culture, arts, music, and tourism, to offer a "Cool Japan" experience.
Japanese food companies can exhibit in booths and connect with international buyers, creating business opportunities. The metaverse exhibition reduces travel and accommodation costs for both suppliers and buyers and supports effective business discussions through real-time communication with AI translation/interpretation features.
No special app downloads are required for participation—visitors can access the metaverse exhibition via the dedicated website using smartphones or PCs. Within a high-quality 3D space, each event booth offers engaging videos and detailed information, providing a realistic trade show experience.

In its past three events, JVREX Food has attracted approximately 7,000 buyers and hosted around 120 exhibiting companies, with all slots fully booked. The 2024 exhibitions are expected to attract even more exhibitors and visitors.
This partnership aims to maximize the marketing potential of the growing interest from international buyers in Japanese food products.
